Creek House was already a beautiful house in a lovely setting overlooking Restronguet Creek on the Fal estuary. Both front and rear extensions were constructed, and a complete internal refurbishment was carried out by P Chapman Construction making the property very special indeed. The project was designed and overseen by local Cornish architects the Lilly Lewarne Practice of Truro, and the work was carried out while the clients, Mr and Mrs Carne were away outside the country. Internally, features include three specially crafted oak trusses which were left exposed giving immense character to the master bedroom upstairs. Both the front and the rear of the house were extended, and a decked area was formed giving fantastic views out over the water. Mr Carne was able to record the work underway from abroad via a web cam type device in the garden. After the project was completed, he produced the time lapse filmbelow which shows the front extension taking shape one day at a time! Thanks to Mr Carne for allowing us to use this here. Multiple extensions to existing dwelling Work carried out while clients were out of the country Extensions and refurbishment all carried out in original style of property "Phil and his team were outstanding to deal with. They were 'can do' in their attitude, but also had a creative eye and a complete focus on quality and customer satisfaction. It was a really enjoyable experience." Mr & Mrs M Carne
